Mag. Dieter J. F. Haselsteiner
Writer, Journalist, and Aviation Expert
Thanks to my studies, I found a late appreciation for literature. Initially, it was primarily non-fiction books, but soon novels joined in, complemented by art (theater and museums).
Since my childhood, I've been passionate about aviation, foreign countries, and cultures. After completing my studies in Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (2005), I gained professional experience in the transport and logistics industry with several international companies, covering air, road, and rail transportation.
In my non-fiction books, I primarily focus on topics related to commercial aviation, writing books, blogs, and articles on the subject (in English and German). Additionally, I give lectures on this topic and serve as the editor of the "In Leichtigkeit" book series, which addresses everyday challenges related to mobility, travel, and nature.
I'd like to mention here that I've taken on a big challenge - writing my own novel. I've already started, and I'll continue until it's finished.
My areas of expertise include:
- Regional aviation
- Airline models
- Sustainability in aviation
- Airports
- Intermodality
- Mobility
- Travel
- Nature
- Strategy, conception, project management
